Dew Process have announced that they will once again be hosting their pre-Splendour party at the Great Northern Hotel in Byron Bay. This year the line-up features a special performance from 'mystery' band The Silent Alarms (um.. well played?), as well as Dananananaykroyd and Yves Klein Blue. Bloc Party will play a little/intimate show on Tuesday, July 28 at the MCA Foundation Hall. Tickets go on sale Thursday, July 9 at 9am. Full details here.

The B-sides from the latest Bloc Party album, 'A Weekend In The City', are apparently better than the released album. Hmm.
