This weekend in Sydney: Goodbye Sunshine Festival (Pt Deux)
There are plenty of lovely things happening around town this weekend (turn yer head right, champ) BUT for us there is a clear winner.
Dead China Doll + Ghosts Of Television + Nhomea @ Club 77
26/02/2009
It was been a loooong time since I have been into the William St dungeon that is Club 77. Not too much has changed. The sound is still pretty bad, the $3 wine is still poured shamelessly from a goon bag and the clientelle are still pretty cool and young and hip (making me feel old, lame and old).
This weekend in Sydney: Exquisite Corpse, The Love Explosion, J Dilla tribute, Hopetoun Valentines Day show and more
Normally when February rolls into town (drunk and smelling a little bit like it has been fooling around with March) the whole world breathes a giant sigh of relief. It (normally) signifies that the crazy festive season is OFFICIALLY over.
Dead China Doll land Cult Of Luna support slot, announce headline show
Things have been a little quiet in Camp DCD over the past few months. We haven't heard a peep. In fact, we had to send a little intern kid over with a tray of freshly baked muffins and some tender loving care just to make sure everything was all ok over there.

No regrets. No no none at all.
In fact you can only just see the weekend from Wednesday, it's waving and jumping up and although you can't make out the facial expression, you know that it's smiling like a drunken idiot.
