Those that (intensely) follow us on Twitter would be fully aware that the reason for the lack of action around this place over the past week-or-so wasn't because we were being incredibly lazy, but rather because both members of the (stud-like) 'editorial team' were off taking their annual 'March Madness' spring break holiday in the city of Japan and their beloved homeland of Berlinia (simultaneously).

Lil Wayne jail sentencing delayed
Lil Wayne was supposed to start his year-long jail today, but, according to those maniacs over at MTV, he has had the sentencing delayed until March 2, because he has a cracked tooth that requires emergency dental surgery.

Rebirth is scheduled to be released with the We Are Young Money compilation on December 15.

Before heading off to prison for an expected twelve month term, Lil Wayne will release a new mixtape on October 31 entitled No Ceilings. This is one of the early leaked tracks from the tape, with Lil W flexing his lyrical muscle over the beat from Jay-Z's Rihanna and Kanye's brilliant Run This Town.

The nominations for the 51st Grammy Awards were released overnight with the current king of hip-hop and/or The Greatest Rapper Alive, Lil Wayne, leading the field with EIGHT nominations - including Album Of The Year! Jay-Z and Kanye West both received six nominations and Radiohead have five (also up for the Album Of The Year award). The ceremony will take place on February 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
