Peabody
Black Narcissus

Hey Peabody - THANKS.
Thanks for not making us look like foolish knobheads for including you in our Most Fuckable Artists Of The Past 4000 Years series. I know a lot of people were like "really?". And some other people were like "Art Vs Science?". And we blocked a lot of IP addresses that day. It was the kind of work which is tough, grueling and painful BUT really really worth it.
Peabody and Further to play rare Sydney shows

Two of the lucky recipients of Our Favourite Artists Of The Decade wank-fest will be performing around town over the next couple of weeks, simultaneously kicking the winter blues in the nuts and reminding everyone/anyone that Sydney once produced bands capable of burning faces off trendy cunts with rock, roll and cock-scraping riffs.
Our Favourite Artists Of The Decade: Tucker Bs, Peabody, Further

Welcome to the final installment of our RED HOT (and slightly drawn out) Favourite Artists Of The Decade series. It's been a fun ride, but like all good things (high school, band camp, finger bang camp) it must eventually pack up shop.
2ser celebrate their 30th birthday with a month long bender
On October 1st iconic community radio station, Sydney's 2ser, turns 30 years old. To celebrate the commencement of their 'dirty thirties' the station will be going on a month of partying/binge-ing with a whole bunch of their friends (who just so happen to be in kickass local and international bands) coming along for the ride. Forget about settling down, mortgaging 'up' and watching the biological clock explode - it's time to smash up the party zone and let the inner-cougar/GILF out.
Peabody and Actor/Model tag team the East Coast
They are probably going to 'lay the smack down' as well. Wrestling metaphors?
Peabody have unfortunately pulled out of The Pitz's final EVER show tonight. They have been replaced by local indie electro-rock group Where's Jerome.
Our favourite albums of 2008
We close out the year with a look back at our favourite releases of the past twelve months.
Peabody announce December tour
Hold onto you hats you indie-dance-electro bots cause Peabody are back! It's like they never went anywhere. Their new album, Prospero, is pretty much chock full of addictive hooks, head rocking rhythms and enough of a hard kick/punch combo to knock a whole lotta sense into you. It will force you to remember that 'indie' and 'rock' were once AWESOME.
