Here at Polaroids Of Musicroids (as our name would suggest) we constantly absorb music, suck it through our pores and spit the remains at you. But, occasionally (and this may surprise some of youse), we also enjoying picking up a good book, snuggling up with our loved one (a cat) and really hammering through some literature.
Tours tours tours: The Mess Hall, The Drones, The Kill Devil Hills
What do The Mess Hall, The Drones and The Kill Devil Hills have in common? If you answered "ROCK" you would be half right. If you said "they are all bad ass duos with elaborate hair styles" you would be completely incorrect.
The Drones

The Drones farewell The Tote with a blistering cover of the legendary GOD track.
The nominations for the 2009 ARIA Awards have been released. A former Australian Idol runner-up leads the field with seven nominations, ahead of the usual gang of local 'talent' - Jet, Eskimo Joe and Sneaky Sound System. There are a few pleasant surprises though, with The Drones, Dappled Cities Fly and Horrorshow all picking up nominations.
The award ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 26 at Acer Arena, Sydney and televised live on Channel Nine. General public tickets go on sale Friday, October 16 via Ticketek.
Pitchfork has reviewed The Drones' latest album Havilah and, although their write-up is fairly positive, it seems to be about 1.6 off.
