Thanks to a good ol' fashioned media screw-up (premature street press advert-ulation) the line-up for this year's Groovin' The Moo has dropped a day ahead of schedule.

Contra
If you didn't like Vampire Weekend the first time around, then chances are Contra isn't going to change your mind. The rich kid Graceland-esque afro-pop nonsense remains almost completely unaltered on the group's second LP, with only a few slightly less organic experimental twists added in around the edges. The immediately accessible pop elements make the album a pleasant ride, but the overall passive nature makes this the kind of record you are probably only ever going to listen to when entertaining your suburban friends.
Pitchfork have just posted the new Vampire Weekend song, Horchata, taken from their forthcoming record Contra. The group have also announced that they will be playing a show in Sydney at the Oxford Art Factory on November 21, with tickets going on sale via Moshtix next Monday (October 12). No other Australian dates have yet been announced.
Do you want to interview Vampire Weekend? Yeah, me neither.
