Tobacco is good for you

Tobacco

Tobacco is one half (50%) of psychedelic space-trippers Black Moth Super Rainbow. His music is much darker, more sinister and hypnotic than that of his 'day job' band, created with a unique blend of analog synths, tape machines and distorted vocals.

Dirt (featuring Aesop Rock)

Truck Sweat

Tobacco's debut album is entitled Fucked Up Friends and it's in stores (internationally) as of NOW. No word yet on when it will be out locally.

As part of his 'internet campaigning' for the record, Tobacco has recently put out a pro-Tobacco (full of yerself a bit aren't yer, mate?) advert and/or online viral marketing video. The minute long 'ad' was created by Derrick Beckles from Street Boners and TV Carnage, who is famous for his Michael Moore-ish anti-smoking viddys. Oh, the irony... or something.

You can preview more stuff from Fucked Up Friends over at The Hood Internet as part of a special mash-tape (kinda like a mixtape) they have put together. The mash takes several of the finest cuts from the record and throws them into a cesspool of 'wackiness' with some special guests and loads of other crazy stuff. It's kinda like an album teaser - on crack.
