Pivot team up with My Disco for national tour
Bloody Pivot.
Warp-signed, globe trotting instrumentalists Pivot are (like all good 'children') returning home, having just announced a national tour to celebrate the release of their latest single (and album title track) O Soundtrack My Heart.
More special than the news of the tour is the FACT that (at 60% of the shows anywayz) they will be supported by Melbourne math-rocking superheroes - My Disco.
Friday, November 21: Rocket Bar, Adelaide
Saturday, November 22: The Corner, Melbourne
Friday, November 28: The Zoo, Brisbane (*)
Saturday, November 29: The Gaelic Theatre, Sydney (*)
Friday, December 5: The Bakery, Perth (*)

My Disco have taken out the music category at this year's Spirit Of Youth Awards (aka the SOYAs). The Melbourne trio take home $5,000 in cold hard ca$h and $5,000 worth of Qantas flights. They also get the opportunity to be 'mentored' for the next 12 months by wunder-producer Scott Horscroft, who has previously worked with Silverchair and The Panics. Hmm.. maybe a little bit of a mismatch there. #

Ohana and Fabulous Diamonds have been named as the supports for My Disco's Sydney show, stream the new Gnarls Barkley album, put some cake in yer hole, Children Collide sign record deal and Be Your Own Pet get some of their songs banned.
