Splendour In The Grass sells out

Update: word is that there are tickets still available and maybe the original 'sold out' notice was a little premature. So, I guess if your in the market for tickets you can keep refreshing..

I thought the extra measures they had in place - having to enter the full name and date of birth of everyone you were buying a ticket for - would mean there would be zero scalpters and thus it would take a few days to completely sell out. Apparently, I was wrong.

Albert Hammond Jr. has canceled all shows on his forthcoming Australian tour - including his scheduled appearance at this weekend's Splendour In The Grass festival. Albert is suffering from a severe throat infection that has resulted in him losing his voice and has been advised against performing by his doctor. Refunds for all shows are available at the original point of purchase. #
