V Festival Line-up Announced

More to be announced shortly, but that's not a bad start.

The festival will only be hitting two Australian cities, Sydney (on March 31st) and Gold Coast (on Sunday April 1st).

Tickets go on sale on Monday, December 4th, via the official V Festival site and Ticketmaster.

V Festival will be back in 2009, taking place at Sydney (March 28), Gold Coast (March 29), Melbourne (April 4) and Perth (April 5). The line-up includes The Killers, Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs, Elbow, Duffy, Louis XIV, The Do, Tame Impala, The Temper Trap and Canyons. Tickets officially go on sale on Friday, November 28 but presale tickets will be available at Virgin Mobile stores from this Wednesday, November 19. #

More artists have been added to next year's Big Day Out including local acts The Drones, Sparkadia, The Vines, Children Collide, Mercy Arms and (surprise surprise) Little red, as well as some international peeps - Serj Tankian, Dropkick Murphys, Black Kids, Hot Chip, Holy Ghost, Lupe Fiasco and Z-Trip. These new faces (and old faces - Black Kids were soooo 2007) join the existing line-up which features exciting up-and-coming superstars such as Neil Young, The Living End and Sneaky Sound System. #
