The White Stripes, Silversun Pickups and Sunset Rubdown walk into a bar and the world is better off because of it

Did you miss the hilarity of The White Stripes' show in St Johns, Newfoundland? Clickity and laugh. Those krazy striped brother-sister loving kids.

Silversun Pickups (aka the only band that is regularly featured in the top 20 countdown on JTV that isn't SHIT) is coming to Australia to support the kings of big hits via television - Snow Patrol. But, that's not the exciting part at all. The good news is that they will be doing their own sideshow on September 15th at Annandale Hotel. Tickets will set you back $33 (plus booking fee) and are on sale from TOMORROW MORNING (Thursday the 26th of July) at 9am from here.

Like anyone with a pulse we are currently pissing our pants in the excitement of the new Sunset Rubdown album which is called Random Spirit Lover and due in stores at the start of October. And now we are slightly even more excited with the first song from the album doing the rounds on the internets at the moment. It's called Up On Your Leopard, Upon the End of Your Feral Days and you can give it a listen over at Pitchfork. Stupid playful dancey joy. Brilliant.
