Peabody, Further and Wons Phreely
Peabody have released a new single The Devil For Sympathy as part of the lead-up to their new album, Prospero. Don't get us wrong - the new single is a very entertaining and catchy number but for us, the b-side Buzzard Vs Ibis takes the cake.
Somehow - maybe when we were napping and/or firmly lodged in the asses of Radiohead - we missed the fact that local punk rockers Further had released a new single. It's called Tactics and is the title track of their new album which is due out February next year.
Wons Phreely has just put out a new single called Everything Fits. Although we rate it slightly below the majority of the the songs on his debut EP it still contains all of the lovely quirky characteristics of Wons' music.
