Sydney Festival programme released
We already knew about Bjork, and everybody knows Brian Wilson is opening things with a (free!) gig in the Domain... But there are still some great surprises in store with the full line-up of The Sydney Festival being announced this morning, including:
- Sufjan Stevens
- De La Soul & People Under the Stairs
- Battles
- Spank Rock
- Bonde Do Role & Girl Talk
- Joanna Newsom
In addition, the first night of the festival (January 5) features a bunch of FREE events, including Spank Rock, Paul Kelly and Plump DJs, as well as the aforementioned Brian Wilson.
The only problem now seems to be the Battles/Bjork clash on January 23, but with tickets for the latter starting at $135, it may not be such a hard choice.
Tickets for all events go on sale from tomorrow from a variety of outlets. The full run-down can be found at the official website.
