First of the Laneway sideshows revealed
Sydney Uni's Manning Bar seems to have struck a deal with the organisers of the Laneway Festival, playing as the official host to all of the (so far) announced sideshows:
Wednesday, February 27: Okkervil River
Thursday, February 28: Kevin Drew
Wednesday, March 5: Beirut
Tuesday, March 11: Iron & Wine
Tickets start going on sale next week via Moshtix. Check the Moshtix site for full details.
For Melbournites - Okkervil River will also be playing a show, along with their Laneway appearance, at the Corner Hotel on February 26.

Laneway Festival line-up revealed

Okkervil River have put up some special videos on their YouTube channel to celebrate the release of their forthcoming album The Stand Ins. The videos feature 'indie megastarz' AC Newman, Bon Iver and David Vandervelde all performing covers of songs from the group's new album. The Stand Ins, which was released locally earlier this month, will not be out in the US until October 13. #

Laneway pre-sale on now!
