Random Little Things: Spoon confirmed as Arcade Fire support for Jan 23 show, Peats Ridge cancelled, Best Of Lists

Word on the internetz is that Spoon has been confirmed as the support act for Arcade Fire's January 23 show. No word as yet on who the support act will be for the show on the 22nd. Here is to hoping it begins with L and ends with CD Soundsystem.

Unless you have been living under a barrage of Xmas to-do lists (or like us don't really give a shit) you would already know that the Peats Ridge Festival that was scheduled to happen over New Years has been canceled. The word on their official site is that it is impossible to host the festival due to excessive amount of rain they have had over the past six months. So it definately didn't have anything to do with the dismal line-up?

We are currently frantically pieced together the final touches of our end of year compilation album and a summary of our favourite things of 2007.
