For us the essential path to follow is Devastations, Okkervil River, Dan Deacon, Broken Social Scene, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Gotye. Anything else we catch outside of this is just a bonus.

If you are still standing after the full day of fun and games then you should try and get yourself into the afterparty which (somehow?) myself (aka Sprogzz Mackenzzee) and Christian from Talons (aka Vital Organs) will be DJing at (along with a whole bunch of peeps that actually have talent in this area). We will be disguised under the name of Siamese Ginzz and serving up a lovely mixture of Die! Die! Die!, George Harrison, Quasimoto and Kelly Clarkson. You can't mock us if we aren't taking it serious - ok?

ALSO... you can catch Dan Deacon play one more Sydney show this Sunday after his performance at Laneway. It's a little bit secret but we can tell you that it's at a DIY-ish space in the city limits area, it will kick of at around 9pm, be BYO and cost you around $15. To get the location details send a friendly email to info@mistletone.net.
