Random Little Things: Axl Rose, Nunchukka Superfly, Bjork, Caribou, The Paper Scissors, Weezer, Arcade Fire, Holy Fuck

Unless you have been living under a rock you have no doubt heard all about the proposal by Dr Pepper that they will give a free can of the soft drink to every American - except former guitarists Slash and Buckethead - if Guns N Roses release 'Chinese Democracy' this year. Well, now Axl Rose has responded. Regular updates of how this pans out over at the viral campaign's official blog. Yeah, we got all suckered in too.

Local label, We Empty Rooms, have just released a Nunchukka Superfly live album which was recorded earlier in the year at The Tote in Melbourne. It will cost you $18 if you order it via their website or around $20 from local stores. Check out Paint It Black on Enmore Road if you are looking for it in Sydney.

Stereogum have a tribute to Bjork's Post which you can download from this Monday. This follows on from their previous tributes of Radiohead and R.E.M.

The Hook interviews Caribou about his decision to choose music over maths.

New video of The Paper Scissors' latest single, The Bandit.

Have you been following the recent exploits of (moderately insane) Weezer frontman, Rivers Cuomo, on YouTube asking the world to help him write a song? Well, the song has a name now - 80's Radio. Now all he needs is someone to help him out with the chord progression.

Some live music downloads to get you through the weekend...

Arcade Fire's Sydney performance from January. Forum registration required.

Holy Fuck at SXSW and a giant list of others from the Austin festival, including Vampire Weekend, Dizzee Rascal, Billy Bragg, REM and Blitzen Trapper.

See you all at the Toy Death and Box Freezer Romance show tonight, right?
