Snowman unleash a sickening plague of awesome, new album to follow

A few days back a certain curly-haired, punk-rocking mofo messaged me with gushing, highly descriptive words that formed a sentence that pretty much hailed Snowman's new upcoming record, The Horse, The Rat and The Swan, as the 'greatest album ever made'.

If the first single, We Are The Plague, is anything to go by then it would seem as though the album is set to blow some socks right off...

We Are The Plague

The Horse, The Rat and The Swan is released via Dot Dash on May 24.

The cover only features a horse...

The Horse, The Rat and The Swan

Tracklisting:

  1. Our Mother (She Remembers)
  2. We Are The Plague
  3. The Gods Of The Upper House
  4. The Blood Of The Swan
  5. Daniel Was A Timebomb
  6. A Re-Birth
  7. She Is Turning Into You
  8. The Horse (Parts 1 and 2)
  9. Diamond Wounds

Following the release of the new album the band will be embarking on a short national tour. However, this will not kick off until July as drummer Ross is currently recovering from a nasty motorbike accident earlier in the year that left him somewhat mangled. Word is that he is now some sort of half-man, half-robot machine.

After the short national tour (sadly) the band will be relocating themselves to London for an undetermined period of time.

Does this mean they are the new Devastations?
Snowman might be a plague, but are they THE plague?
Will this be album of the year?
Are we trendsetters for claiming that it might be?

Only time will tell.
