One of Sydney's noisiest bands, Atrocities, have recently posted on their blog stating that Sydney fashion band (they are signed to the Levis record label) Mercy Arms recently recorded a song that sounded suspiciously similar to some of new Western-ish material.
Atrocities have taken a proactive response to their suspicions by offering the two tracks in question, that were not going to be released until June, as FREE downloads via their MySpace.
The newly recorded Mercy Arms song in question is yet to surface BUT Kirin Callinan, the guitarist from the band, offered this response in the comments on the original blog post:
Let's hope the two bands kiss and make-up soon before this escaluates into some sort of Tupac vs Biggie type beef. Increase the peace kids.
