The great invasion of international bands

Just over the last couple of days a few upcoming tours by 'bands of international origin' have been announced.

Tokyo Police Club (on sale June 19)

Thursday, July 31: The Zoo, Brisbane
Tuesday, August 5: Oxford Art Factory, Sydney

New Young Pony Club (on sale June 19)
Tuesday, August 5: Prince Bandroom, Melbourne
Wednesday, August 6: Home, Sydney

These New Puritans (on sale June 13)
Tuesday, August 12: Oxford Art Factory, Sydney
Thursday, August 14: The Prince Bandroom, Melbourne

The Kooks (on sale now)
Tuesday, August 26: The Hi Fi, Melbourne
Thursday, 28th August 28: The Metro, Sydney
Saturday, August 30: The Zoo, Brisbane

It looks like Tokyo Police Club and New Young Pony Club will both make an appearance as part of the upcoming second announcement for Splendour In The Grass. There is an outside chance that These New Puritans could be named as well, as they are here just ten days after the festival, but, unless The Kooks require a three week gap between festival appearances and tours, it doesn't look likely they will be part of the Splendour additions.
