The Grates burn bridges, lose teeth, announce secret shows

This morning The Grates gave the world a preview of the first single from their upcoming new album, Teeth Lost, Hearts Won, via Triple J.

Burn Bridges

Burn Bridges is officially released on July 5 with the album due on August 2.

To get all the kids (and those who are kids at heart) excited about the new album the band will be playing some secret shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane during July. The actual locations of the shows aren't revealed until 48 hours before they commence, although peeps have been assured they will be within 3km of the CBD of each of the cities - so you won't be forced to travel to butt-fuck-nowhere just to see the band perform. All three shows will also be all ages.

Info on how to win tickets will be made available via the usual means of communication (Triple J, Channel V, Time Out, MySpazz, and Inpress) and encrypted in 'clue-like' format. A limited number of tickets for the Sydney and Melbourne shows will also be purchase-able on June 19 via QJump.

Friday, July 4: Brisbane
Tuesday, July 8: Sydney
Thursday, July 10: Melbourne
