The right-hand side of Australia is about to get 'clobbered' with an uppercut of electronica, which, when it connects with your weak head will make the sound 'ppppnnnauwww'.
Lame? Ok. Dates!
Friday, August 1: Palace Theatre, Melbourne
Thursday, August 7: The Tivoli, Brisbane
Friday, August 8: Hordern Pavilion, Sydney (all ages)
That's not really a tour. It's only three shows and there is a week gap in there. Do Pnau have day jobs? If so, what do they do? Bakers? Butchers? Parole officers?
I really want to see Littlemore and Co do their thing live. I believe it could be a good (maybe even 'great') show. However, I am worried that the crowd would kill me. When they last played at the Enmore Theatre the streets around the venue were jam-packed with bright-coloured, sunglasses-wearing, shirtless pill-popping fuckheads. I think the whole 'all ages' and 'Hordern' factors don't help either.
They will be supported at all shows by Brisbane rock legends, Operator Please, and a DJ called Sam La More.
Tickets go on sale on June 19 via Tick Yer Tek.

Yeah I would really like to see Pnau again but I'm not a fan of the Whoreden or all ages shows either. I guess the whole all ages thing really hits home when you're in your mid twenties.
Last time I saw Pnau was about 4 years ago at Good Vibes. They were actually really good. I have a 30second video clip I recorded on my computer somewhere if anyone wants it. The last 10 seconds are of me dancing around with a Heineken. It's epic.
