Falls Festival ballot opens, no line-up announced

As of RIGHT NOW you can head over to the Falls Festival webspace and sign up to their ticket ballot, putting you in the draw to get tickets to this year's pair of festival dates, which once again will be held at Marion Bay in Tasmania and Lorne in Victoria right around the time where 2008 meets 2009 (ie. New Years Eve).

The official line-up won't be announced until August 13, however, we hear it's just going to consist of The Wiggles, The Eagles and Grafton Primary playing back-to-back sets for two and a half days straight. So yer should really get onto the whole early sign-up thing PRONTO.

The dates to mark down in zee diaries:

Wednesday, August 13: first line-up announced
Wednesday, August 27: ballot closes
Monday, September 1: ballot is drawn, lucky subscribers get notified
Wednesday, September 17: remaining tickets go on sale to the the general public
