Every other day we get a press release in-our-box hailing Ladyhawke (aka Pip Brown from Teenager aka Princess Modular) as the second cumin' of Miss Jesus H Christ. Her latest single is called Paris Is Burning and is currently doing more laps around the internet than 'the great goatse phenomenen of 1999'.
Whilst the original version is about a six point five, the Peaches remix scores about a seven point two and worthy of at least a few inches and/or pixels of web real estate.

Paris Is Burning (Peaches Remix)
There is a great little Chemical Bros bit that comes in and out at different times during the remix version. Kinda takes me back to 1999 when shit, everything was all smooth and calm and shit was like. Polo shit, everything, everything was lovely (can I get a 'Wu'?).
Does anyone have any idea what this song is about? Kids drinking wine in the streets of Paris? Sweet sweet love? The death of French art culture? Getting 'the clap' while holidaying through Europe?
Ladyhawke will be explaining the meaning of the song (and rocking some sweet disco tunes) on her August tour of Australia and New Zealand, ahead of the release of her debut album on September 13.
