The Grates reveal album cover, announce October national tour, give away pillowcases

If you are anything like me (skinny and awesome) then you are getting pretty darn sick of all The Grates related updates that we have been posting every other day hour. They have some sort of crack PR team (who are on heroin) that are regularly feeding us tiny bits of info, just enough to keep us interested. Arghh. It's annoying, yet unbelievably arousing at the same time.

To celebrate the release of the new album on August 2nd, the energetic Brisbanites have announced that will be embarking on a fairly substantial national tour.

Friday, October 10: Hi-Fi Bar, Melbourne
Sunday, October 12: Governor Hindmarsh
Wednesday, October 15: Wollongong Uni Bar, Wollongong
Friday, October 17: Metro Theatre, Sydney
Saturday, October 18: Cambridge Hotel, Newcastle
Thursday, October 23: Prince Of Wales, Bunbury
Friday, October 24: Settlers Tavern, Margaret River
Saturday, October 25: Capitol Bar, Perth

They will be supported at all shows by The Vasco Era and The John Steel Singers, with tickets going on sale Friday, August 8.
