The Silents are going to play some shows!

The Silents

The Silents (the band from Perth not the 1963 Swedish film) are just about to lock themselves away in a cave (with a man named Dave who just came back from a rave) to start work on their second album.

Before they do this however (and with Dave's strong influence they are obviously going to go all 'electro' and start to be a little lame) they are hitting the road and playing a whole bunch of honest rock shows.

Ivy League's birthday bash now one night only

A while back we reported about a special double night celebration for Ivy League Records' 10th anniversary. The original plan of having the bands split over two big nights has now been scrapped and replaced with a new plan to pack as many awesome local bands into one night as physically possible.
