Frightened Rabbit added to Purple Sneakers NYE party

Frightened Rabbit
Frightened Rabbit. Napping.

A couple weeks ago we 'broke' the 'news' that EVERYONE'S favourite (and most hearted) French disco dudes, The Teenagers, would be headlining the Purple Sneakers NYE party this year.

Well, today not only did that piece of info become 100% official BUT it was also announced that they will be joined on the night by Scottish indie rock legends Frightened Rabbit. It was also revealed that their appearance at the party will be the group's ONLY Sydney show.

A whole bunch of local acts were also named as part of the first line-up including Sparkadia, Yves Klein Blue, teenagersintokyo, The Jezabels, MC Gaff E, Dept, as well as BIG SUPERSTAR DJ's PhDJ, Soft Tigers DJs and Purple Sneakers DJ's.

More acts will be added closer to the date.

Tickets go on sale on Thursday, October 2 and will set you back $49 (+ bf) or $39 (+ bf) if you are an access card holder.

this is actually starting to sound like a really good way to spend NYE... either that or at home on the couch, wearing trackies, beer in hand, watching the fireworks on tv... I'm so over nye.
