Animal Collective confirm Meredith appearance and December tour
A couple of months ago information leaked via a music bulletin board that The Internetzz Favourite Band, Animal Collective, would be heading our way at the end of the year.
Today, this bit of information was officially confirmed via the Domino Records website.
Thursday, December 10: Tivoli, Brisbane
Friday, December 11: Enmore Theatre, Sydney
Saturday, December 12: Meredith Music Festival, Victoria
Thursday, December 17: Capitol, Perth
They are the second act to be locked in for Meredith, with the legendary Sir Jarvis Cocker letting it slip last week that he would be performing at the festival. Word is that the full line-up will be released sometime in the next week or so. Those interested in attending are advising to enter the ticket ballot as the demand/tickets ratio is traditionally a bit one sided.

... BUT ....
according to the Enmore Theatre website they are playing on the 12th not the 11th.. eh... tickets (for that show at least) go on sale on Friday, September 25..
