Bjork added to Sydney Festival

After an absence from our shores of over 10 years, Iceland's favourite daughter Bjork, makes her way to Sydney early in 2008 as part of the Sydney Festival.

Bjork will play the Sydney Opera House forecourt on January 23 to an intimate crowd of just 5000 - though, given the date, it seems likely she'll also headline the Big Day Out festival, which hits town a few days later.

The official press release can be found at the Sydney Festival website. Tickets go on sale in November.
