It would seem as though every person in Sydney is fleeing out to the sunny land of Homebush on Saturday afternoon for the Daft Punk show. The 'fun-ness' of the day hangs in the balance as there are many variables involved - including the weather, the number of dickheads in the area and the vantage point we get.
The activity plan...
02:00 - Doors Open
02:00 - Modular DJs
02:30 - Plug In City
03:00 - Modular DJs
03:30 - Van She
04:10 - Modular DJs
04:50 - Muscles
05:30 - Modular DJs
06:00 - Cut Copy
06:45 - Bang Gang Deejays
07:45 - The Presets
08:30 - Sebastian & Kavinsky
09:15 - Daft Punk
10:45 - Close - find some way of getting home
The first 24,000 people through the gates will be given a 'special' wristband giving them access to the dancefloor. We will most probably miss this honour as we are planning on skipping the majority of the Modular circus that is playing out throughout the afternoon. I don't think I will be able to handle the excess fluro of the masses on the DF so I will more than likely be kicking in up in the stands with (fingers crossed) a good view of the action.
Bring on the insane laserzzzz show!!!
If your drugged out tough guy in a pink Van She t-shirt and wearing sunglasses past 8pm then please don't feel the need to be within 50 metres of me. Thanks.
