Daft Punk to Tour Australia in 2007?

Update: it's been confirmed!!

We usually try to stay clear of the speculative error prone rumour mill, but this one is just to big to resist.

The word is, is that THE group that has defined electronic music over the last 10 years, Daft Punk, will be coming out to Australia towards the end of the year to tour.

Assumptions could be made as to where they will play, and whether it will tie in with any one of what seems like a million summer festival's these days, but were not brave enough to hazard a guess as to what these details will be.

We obviously take no responsibility if this turns out to be bullshit, but inversely are expecting all the praises if it turns out were right.

So with a bit of luck, we could be in for the amazement that all agree has come out of Daft Punk shows the last few months across Europe and the USA.
