It appears as though there are still tickets available for Dan Deacon's first Australian show this evening at Oxford Art Factory. Tickets are a meeeeeasly $19 (+ bf) as well which is some sort of freaky bargain considering Deacon is 'international'.
If you are going, or if you plan to catch the man do his thing at any of the upcoming Laneway Festivals, then you should point your browser to HERE where you can download a whole bunch of his older stuff - for FREE!
And the plan of attackz for tonight:
9pm - doors
9:40pm to 10:20pm - Always
10:50pm to 11:30pm - Catcall
11:30pm to 12:00am - Sleater Brockman + Master Celebrator
12:00am to 1:00am - DAN DEACON
1:00am to ??? - Sleater Brockman + Master Celebrator
Why do all 'electronic' shows feel the need to run just that little bit later than normal shows?
Jonny Yes Yesit's definitely a hit and miss venue. i don't mind it - but like anywhere in Sydney - can be killed by pretentious fuckwits.

gemdilemyeah I've been to Oxford Art Factory twice.. once there was pretentious idiots in it that completely ruined the night... the other time there wasn't and it was great... very much hit and miss

Can you post a review of the Oxford Art Factory; keep hearing raves about it but when I went there after the ELF let down last week the downstairs bar was littered with posers and a crowd that seemed to have migrated from home nightclub. Guess it was good vibes day though.
