Die! Die! Die! sign to Flying Nun, reveal new album details

Die! Die! Die!

Recently I was alerted to this Spinner article about the plans of Flying Nun founder Roger Shepherd to bring the influential New Zealand label back to it's former (independent) glory, as well as the unexpected involvement in the revival from Crowded House's Neil Finn.

Finn:

I was given the chance to be an investor in it and I jumped at it, because I think it's been a shame it's been left to languish so long with such an amazing catalogue [...] But also Roger has got the vibe, and his interest in getting those records in good shape and giving them a bit of love and attention. I think he's got his mind on finding some great new things.

...AND "so far, so awesome" with one of our favourite riot-evoking bands, Die! Die! Die!, announcing that they've signed to Flying Nun Part Deux.

The label will release DDD's new album, Form, on July 19 in New Zealand, with international release dates presumably to follow once the new Flying Nun world takeover plans have been worked out.
