Remember that catchy-as-hell, Sydney three-piece by the name of Hand Me My Jetpack?

Of course you do, we mentioned them almost on a daily basis last year. We were somewhat ga-ga over them.

Well, in case you haven't heard, the band has parted ways - with bassist Dean Cameron moving to 'Honkers' to fulfill his dreams and take a bit of a break from the Sydney hustle-n-bustle. As a parting gift, however, they are offering their HMMJ mini-album as a FREE download.

The two band members who aren't jetsetting, Joel and Oscar, are keeping themselves busy post-Jetpack. Joel is currently playing in Richard In Your Mind as well as developing his new Sleep School project. Oscar is learning to cook and chatting to your friends. They have plans to also team up in the not too distant future and unleash a totally new project, combining their skills like Voltron and/or a well co-ordinated musical outfit. We will keep you posted.
