FBi's 5th birthday bash

FBi Radio have announced that they will be celebrating their 5th birthday with a 'mini-festival' at World Bar in Kings Cross on Friday, September 12.

The line-up:

  • Pomo Mofo

The action will kick off at 6pm and take place across all three levels of the bar.

Tickets are on sale NOW via Moshtix and will set you back $16.50 (+ bf) if you are a FBi supporter or $27.50 (+ bf) if you are a 'norm'. All proceeds from the SUPER LARGE show go right back into the pockets of the station to make sure it stays around to see it's sixth birthday.

Last years birthday bash was on a Sunday arvo and was a bit of fun. Not too sure how a Friday evening bash will be but I will prob end up going. You know, to show my support and all that.

The (initial) line-up for the 2009 Playground Weekender has been announced and includes Primal Scream, The Streets, Cold War Kids, Crystal Castles, Whomadewho, The Paper Scissors, Pomomofo, WOW and many many more. The festival will take place from February 6 to 8 and once again be held at Wiseman's Ferry (about an hour or so north of Sydney). Thanks to kidkym via the forum for the heads up. #
