In Rainbows

Those who pre-ordered it would have already received their download codes and probably (depending on your speed) already have a few listens under their belt. If you haven't got your copy of it yet head over to the Radiohead website and pre-order it.

Our first impressions? It's pretty fucking incredible. Yorke's voice switches moods at a rampant pace and explodes over the music, which is made up of both electronic and organic based sounds. It's probably about as good as you would expected it would be.

Once we piece ourselves back together we will surely put some better thoughts on the record together.

Sean aka The Worlds Biggest Radiohead Fan aka Mr Radiohead aka Sean Mixmaster Sean has a very good wrap-up of the interweb hype surrounding the album from all fifteen corners of the globe.

Anyone else who has heard it.. Thoughts?

The nominations for the 51st Grammy Awards were released overnight with the current king of hip-hop and/or The Greatest Rapper Alive, Lil Wayne, leading the field with EIGHT nominations - including Album Of The Year! Jay-Z and Kanye West both received six nominations and Radiohead have five (also up for the Album Of The Year award). The ceremony will take place on February 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. #

It has just been announced that Elbow have won the 2008 Mercury Prize for their latest record The Seldom Seen Kid. The Manchester group beat a strong shortlist of artists including Burial, Neon Neon, British Sea Power and Radiohead to take out the highly coveted award. #
