Laneway Festival line-up revealed

No Age
No Age - mildly excited about appearing at next year's Laneway Festival.

After a few solid weeks of rumour milling and Wolf Parade excitement, the Laneway Festival 2009 line-up FINALLY got officially unleashed this morning. Some stuff to really get excited about (No Age, Girl Talk, Jay Reatard and Four Tet) but sadly no Wolf Parade.

  • Girl Talk
  • Stereolab
  • No Age
  • Jay Reatard
  • Four Tet
  • Architecture In Helsinki
  • The Drones
  • The Hold Steady
  • Cut Off Your Hands
  • Tame Imapala
  • El Guincho
  • Buraka Som Sistema (DJ/MC set)
  • The Temper Trap
  • The John Steel Singers
  • Canyons
  • Pivot
  • Port O'Brien

  • Tim Fite
  • Still Flyin'

Tickets go on sale on Monday, October 27 via Moshtix.

The festival will head over to 'Da West Coast' (Perth) for the very first time. The Adelaide show has been moved to a bigger space and the Melbourne one has expanded into an extra lane. Brisbane and Sydney remain pretty much unchanged. Thankfully the early rumours of the Sydney leg being moved to a larger site weren't true.

Saturday, January 31: Alexandria St off St Paul's Terrace, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane
Sunday, February 1: Lonsdale St, Caledonian Lane and Little Lonsdale St, Melbourne
Friday, February 6: Cultural Centre, Northbridge, Perth
Saturday, February 7: Fowler's Live, Northern Terrace, Adelaide
Sunday, February 8: Macquarie Park & Reiby Place, Circular Quay, Sydney
