Friday, October 3: Music Farmers Show, Wollongong
Saturday, October 4: The National, Geelong
Friday, October 10: Annandale Hotel, Sydney
Saturday, October 11: The Valley Studios, Brisbane
Friday, October 17: The Edinburgh Castle, Adelaide
Saturday, October 18: The Tote, Melbourne
Sunday, October 19: The Tote, Melbourne

Tickets for most shows are just $10, with Newcastlites (?) getting an even sweeter deal as the group's performance at the Sound Summit Festival is 100% FREE! More info regarding the festival available at the This Is Not Art webspace.

The band have also revealed that they will be taking the rest of the year off to start work on material for their third album, the follow-up to their brilliant Paradise record.

International peeps can start getting excited as well as the band have announced that they are currently planning a GIANT-sized world tour, which is scheduled to kick off in February 2009.

My Disco have taken out the music category at this year's Spirit Of Youth Awards (aka the SOYAs). The Melbourne trio take home $5,000 in cold hard ca$h and $5,000 worth of Qantas flights. They also get the opportunity to be 'mentored' for the next 12 months by wunder-producer Scott Horscroft, who has previously worked with Silverchair and The Panics. Hmm.. maybe a little bit of a mismatch there. #
