Naked On The Vague kickstart collaborative short film

We've been closely following this Naked On The Vague Kickstarter project for the past week or so. Not only does Twelve Dark Noons sound like an awesome little art/music/film collaboration BUT it's also great to see so many people getting behind it. Take that Hobogestapo.
Sometime over the last day or so the amount of money raised ticked over to the allocated minimum required to make the film actually happen ($3500). At time of publication the total raised was $3706, with still 8 days left until the capital raising part of the project finishes up.
The best thing is that it's all been set up as what's commonly known (in the industry) as a "two way street". Sure, we all want to help NOTV create a post-apocalyptic outback arthouse horror flick and don't expect anything (other than mind-melting audio/visual stimulation) in return.... BUT the band aren't happy with that arrangement AND are also offering up 'goody bags' for those that donate, ranging from a limited-edition cassette for a $10 donation, right through to an executive producer credit on the film for dropping a G-note.
You can read a bit more about the project and those involved - as well as watch a nice teasing intro/trailer - over at the Kickstarter page.
In other Naked On The Vague news, the band start the launch tour for their new album, Heaps Of Nothing, next weekend:
Friday, July 2: The Excelsior, Sydney
Saturday, July 10: The Empress, Melbourne
Friday, July 16: The Croatian Club, Newcastle
Friday, July 30: Cubbyhole (Rosies), Brisbane
