Apparently there are still some tickets available. They will set you back a measly $49 (+ bf) which considering your other options (watching the fireworks on TV with your grandparents, going to a party hosted by Paris Hilton, hanging out in the alleyway behind your house with the local 17-year old kids drinking longnecks) seems like a mighty tasty option. Disorganised last minute peeps rejoice!
The organisers have also revealed this week that they will be putting on FREE buses between the venue and Central Station, so there is no need to to partake in the NYE tradition of wandering the streets throwing money at taxi drivers. The two shuttle buses will leave every 30 minutes between 10pm and 5am.

I will be there for a bit, anyone else going?
I think it's really awesome that they've arranged buses to central. Get the last bus to central, catch the first train home. In theory anyway...
In reality I know I'll be one of those people standing in the gutter throwing money at passing cabs, sobbing "please PLEASEEEE take me to the inner west! not even part of the way? INNER WEEEEEEST?!?!......"
Jonny Yes Yes
i am gonna be there at least for spod and frightened rabbit..
spod
i'm playing for half an hour? PARTY JAM!
Sean
so how was this guys?
the douchefest at Bondi was TOTALLY worth it for Underworld. Oh man....at the stroke of midnight fireworks went off and that keyboard bit from Born Slippy started. It. Was. Awesome.
Jonny Yes Yes
frightened rabbit were incredible.... and scottish!
spod was amazing - and he gave the jonny props... which is incredible ego satisfaction!
didn't really watch anyone else
had some sort of fallafel roll thing on the way home
i give it about a 8.5
Sean
woah....you got a SHOUT OUT???? Awesome. Best NYE ever?
Also, we overheard this last night said by a young lady from Wollongong:
"Hey Kate, which one of you bitches pissed on my Smirnoff."
I should add, she was holding and drinking out of said bottle of Smirnoff.
Jonny Yes Yes
HA... that's awesome Sean...
you can take the lady outta Wollongong...
yes.. shout out and i was thinking "that's it - my night has peaked" ... i think i may have done a little white boy dance on the spot to celebrate..
bella
hahaha I heard you get the shout out! I cheered like crazy!

Frightened Rabbit were incredible Jonny.
We loved them, totally.
Despite average sound and appearing to be very tired, they played
with amazing passion. They need to tour again, properly.
Watched a bit of Sparkadia after that, then went home.
Humming 'Keep Yourself Warm' all the way.
Nice to see you there Jonny and meet future Mrs Jonny...
Jonny Yes Yes
yes... agreed.. they looked super tired...
they drunk whiskey straight as well.. man style..
i did enjoy spod doing the midnight countdown...
Jonny Yes Yes
bella: yes.. i heard screams... i owe brent a king sized man hug next time i see him.. mad props..
bella
my sister and I were countdown ghosts, but we couldnt get the balloons out of the bag. HA.
bella

Jonny Yes Yes
COWBELL was epic
as was that whole "freestyle" / "wait that wasn't a freestyle" thing near the end...
