Lachmandoo
Gonna be tough to get a ticket...
Wayne
Wow!!! Greatly surprised by the quality of the lineup! Also surprised at the number of acts that are making a quick return to our shores. Weren't a lot of these acts just here?
Looking forward to sideshows from the following-
Frightened Rabbit
Broken Social Scene
Grizzly Bear
Band of Horses
Midlake
Laura Marling
Jonsi
darren the dog
australias best music festival?
Jonny Yes Yes
apparently Splendour will be the Pixies' only Australian show... which, I guess, considering they were just here, isn't too much of a bummer..
Lochy
Thats pretty bloody good!
Really looking forward to Dick Ashburton and the Coalition of Funk!
Is he really serious?
bella
CREAMY MUSHROOM.
Lochy
what does CREAMY MUSHROOM mean?
The future Mrs Leto
So why are 30 Seconds to Mars playing 3 shows in the days building up to the gig, then nothing for 3 days until their Auckland gig, with no Brisbane show announced...and no Splendour appearance announced - yet their tour advert is plastered all over the official Splendour website? Frustrating.
Jo Hoe
'Cos Jared Leto was better as a heroin addict
Jonny Yes Yes

I also find it incredibly amusing that a 30STM fan is 1) here and 2) bringing this up.
I heard words that a couple of bands were still to be added so perhaps there is truth to that. It really would cater to everybody if they were on the lineup.
Jonny Yes Yes
Blink?

Can't say I'm as stoked as most of you. I don't think there one band on there that is headline material....The Pixies? c'mon! and The Strokes, in my humble opinion, haven't been good for awhile now. I hope there will be some late announcements with with more headline type acts. Splendour should take lessons from Coachella, now there's a lineup! http://www.coachella.com/event/lineup
matt hickey
yeah the press release i got said there were more to be announced. hopefully not 30stm. not unless they bring edward norton out to beat in jl's face again.
kidalias
But if a band you don't want to see plays then you're lessening the chance of timetable clashes.
Rav
or they wheel out Colin Farrell so he and JL can jump into the sack again, a lah Alexander The Gay.
p.s. anyone ever seen that 30STM film clip where one of the dudes in the band is giving a bear a BJ? WTF was with that?
