The Grates head out on a big adventure

The Grates

Sorry, that headlining is incredibly misleading.

You see, The Grates have decided to name their upcoming national tour 'The Biggest Longest Adventure Tour' and I was trying to make a 'clever' reference to that fact. Yes, it failed. I failed you. Apologies.

Anyways... the band are hitting the road for their last local tour for a while. It's not really that big so those in regional centres are going to miss out. Don't cry! You can always go and see Mr Pyke!

Friday, May 1: The Hi Fi, Brisbane
Wednesday, May 6: ANU Bar, Canberra
Friday, May 8: The Forum, Sydney
Sunday, May 10: HQ, Adelaide
Tuesday, May 12: Capitol, Perth
Thursday, May 14: Hobart University, Hobart
Friday, May 15: The Forum, Melbourne

The trio will be supported at all stops by Melbourne's Children Collide. Another local support will be 'hand picked' by the band for each stop. Although they haven't all been officially finalised as yet we have been told that the Brisbane show will be opened by DZ. Damn lucky Brisbanitezz.

Tickets are on sale NOW.
