The Undercutzz - gone to the big hash pipe in the sky

We have just received some very sad news via fax from Sprogzz Mackenzzee, one half of Sydney DJ duo Undercutzz, announcing that the group have officially parted ways.
The two founding members, Wesley Pipes and Sprogzz Mackenzzee, have cited "inner turmoiling" and "unable to sync their periods" as the main two reasons they have decided to hang up their 'stolen from Van She Tech' headphones and call it a day. They have stated that they are also unable to see any possible way in which they will ever reach the dizzy heights of their scheduled performance tonight at Spectrum, which involves opening for one-third of The Gerlings and possibly even sharing a bong with Dazza Elf at some point during the night.
From the duo's humble beginnings opening for the Cold War kids at the Enmore Theatre to tonight's career pinnacle, they have gone through several up-and-down moments, including being booted off stage at the Oxford Art Factory for playing Blink 182's Dammit at half-speed and once sharing a sexually-tense moment with 'that cool guy' from now-defunct Adelaide band Bit By Bats.
Both 'members' of the 'band' have stated that they will more than likely remain acquaintances and refuse to put any strength in rumours that have made an agreement to cross to the other side of the road when they see each other in public. Sprogzz Mackenzzee will go back to it's original career plan of creating the greatest ever Tin Lids vs Operator Please mash-up, while Wesley Pipes will focus on his ever-expanding investment portfolio - which includes a 25% stake in popular Jewish dating website JDate.
The group's manager, Kripy The Magnificent was unavailable for comment but his weedcarrier, Christopher Riggles, said that The Man was both "distraught" and "distant" since receiving the news via fax earlier this morning. Suicide Watch and Bondi Rescue have both been put on high alert.
It's also been announced that there is a special hotline being set-up for fans who are unable to deal with this news. Fan club members will be notified via email once this has been established.
The Undercutzz will perform their official Farewell To The World show this evening at Spectrum.
Dum Dum Club, a star-studded new monthly night at Spectrum, officially "pops it's cherry" tonight. The organiser, Dazza The E.L.F, recently spoke to Twelve Major Chords about the reason behind the new night and what 'level' he plans to 'take it to' in the the future. Doors open at 8pm and entry costs $10.

Aw man! I only just found out about these guys! This is exactly what happened with Nirvana... Finally started listening to them and two days later Kurt Cobain blows his head off.

Wait, Kurt Cobain is dead? When did this happen?
