This weekend in Sydney: Tucker B's and Talons albums released, Battles at the Opera House, Screamfeeder do Kitten Licks

Battles. Owning it. Somewhere.
Another BIG weekend of things happening in Sydney to get to BUT first I think we should mention that two of our favourite local acts - Tucker B's and Talons - are both dropping new (and in the case of Talons - debut) records on Saturday. They both should be available in your local record stores and if they are not then we think you should seriously consider 'getting tough'.
More info on Tucker B's album here and some deets on Talons' self-titled offering here. Both records are Top Five Of 2009 kind of material and definitely worth your hard earned dollarz. Proper reviews in the works. Promise.
For those looking to see some live music (and not just sit around in their living rooms getting rocked by those two albums) there is plenty on.
Tonight (Friday)
Our pick is the Trail Of Dead show at The Forum. It's a bit of what they call a 'double treat' as well with the Texanites being supported by Melbourne math rockers My Disco. Tickets are available via Moshtix.
Saturday
TWO big shows - Battles at the Opera House (part 1) and the Screamfeeder show at the Annandale. The Screamfeeder show is also a little bit special because - a) they will be playing their CLASSIC album Kitten Licks from start to finish AND; b) they will be joined by lot's of awesome bands - including Midget and Further. Snap!
Awesome Melbourne band Baryshnikov are also in town this weekend. You can catch them playing tonight at Red Rattler, a FREE instore at Paint It Black tomorrow afternoon AND an all ages thing at Dirty Shirlows tomorrow night with some fantastic local bands - Hira Hira, Bare Arms and Pockets.
Sunday
If you have any energy left you can head out to Battles at the Opera House (part 2) (apparently there are still tickets available) OR catch legendary local band Front End Loader playing a FREE afternoon show at the Annandale.
Feel free to drop any other shows that we have missed in the comments.
