The flurry of November tour announcements continues...
Dinosaur Jr have just revealed the details of their sideshows for when they are here in March for Golden Plains.
Thursday, March 4: Corner Hotel, Melbourne
Wednesday, March 10: Great Northern Hotel, Byron Bay
Thursday, March 11: Metro Theatre, Sydney
Friday, March 12: Rosemount Hotel, Perth
Saturday, March 13: Fowlers Live, Adelaide
Sunday, March 14: Moorilla, Hobart
No word yet on when tickets will be going on sale.
Wilco have also announced that they'll be returning to Australia in April/May for an East Coast tour, including two shows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Friday, April 30: The Tivoli, Brisbane
Saturday, May 1: State Theatre, Sydney
Sunday, May 2: Factory Theatre, Sydney
Wednesday, May 5: The Forum Theatre, Melbourne
Thursday, May 6: The Forum Theatre, Melbourne

This is a punk lullaby, wrapped up in that perfect cutesy lo-fi robot shit from the '90s that someone took too far (Polyester Girl). It also sounds like the missing link between the controlled fury of the band's fantastic Crazy? Yes! Dumb? No! and the lo-fi perfection of Screens. That's (kinda) funny because that's (kinda) EXACTLY what Minty guitarist, Ruban Nielson, told us their new stuff was gonna sound like when we interviewed him a few months back.
