WIN a double pass to the Purple Sneakers NYE House Party
If you are anything like me (chunky but lovable) then you are probably only now starting to think about what you are going to be doing when 2009 says "later skater" and the cool motherfucker Twenty Ten rolls in and gives you a comforting, yet confusing, ass slap.
Well, wonder no longer.
Thanks to the lovely folks over at Boundary Sounds we have a double pass to the Purple Sneakers NYE House Party to give away to one lucky amigo. The successful bro/hoe/average Joe will be ringing in the New Year alongside a smorgasbord local and 'internationals' music dedicatees, including The Grates, Ponytail, DZ and Philly El Grande Jury.
To win the double pass simply send an email to us@polaroidsofandroids.com, telling us in 4000 words or less which artist/band from the line-up you would most like be pashing when the clock strikes midnight. Bonus points if you go nuts on descriptive details and/or mention the words 'tonguey', 'pash rash' or 'bogus'. You can refresh your memory of who is playing on the night here.
Entries close at midnight on Sunday, December 27. The winner will be contacted via email on the following Monday, with the 'Best of the Pack' (or at least the ones that aren't pure filth) published during that week.
Those that don't feel like taking the gamble and instead wish to get their hands on tickets the ol' fashioned way then you really should act quickly. The second release has just completely sold out and now there is only a few final tickets left, which are currently on sale for $69 (+ bf) via OzTix.
Of course, considering that the event is 18+ and will require identification to gain entry, we recommend that you don't bother entering the contest if you are under age. Sorry tikes.
