Your FREE Sunday

Are you broke from a busy Saturday night? Did you get robbed at 3am coming home from the pub? Well, not all hope is lost. There are three different things going on tomorrow around town that are FREE to get into.

Kicking off around midday is the annual Marrickville Road Festival which features live performances from The Seabellies, Unkle Ho, The Dardanelles and Belles Will Ring. We wish we could tell you their playing times but the information document on this page seems to have taken the weekend off. It's a great festival with lovely food, awesome bands and is nice enough (because it's Marrickville) to let people drink longnecks in the street.

One of our fave Sydney bands, Talons kick off their month long September residency at the Hopetoun Hotel tomorrow from 6pm. They will supported by Emergency Emergency and the highly entertaining Laura Imbruglia.

For those that live on the eastern side of town (and people do!) then don't worry you haven't been left out of this poor man's wet dream. Beach Road Hotel at Bondi will play be hosting it's normal weekly Sunday afternoon FREE entertainment with performances by Lost Valentinos, Yves Klein Blue and Mission Control. All starting around 6pm.

Talons have unfortunately had to pull out of the show. Sad face!
They have, however, been replaced by Fashion Launches Rocket Launches (Mercy Arms and Valentinos side project) and the "infernal biker boogie-bots" Circle Pit.
8pm. $10.
