#4: Unknown Mortal Orchestra (Part 2)
Most things are better in pairs — breasts, albums disguised as Audio Books, high fives from Detective Lenny Briscoe and videos featuring Aucklandia, Oregan band Unknown Mortal Orchestra performing live. After all, if you only had that first video you'd forever be asking yourself "is it just my imagination or is this bloody fantastic?" and "is that old mate Jesus Corby ducking and weaving in the background like a Mercedes on a boogie board traffic violation?". And thankfully, your eyes and ears are currently being pleasantly tickled pinkish, unhelpfully assisting you in answering those queries.
This installment features the band performing Jello and Juggernauts from their self-titled debut, live at Matt and Jesse's awesome warehouse space in downtown Sydney. The UMO Team are currently in hibernation working on their new record. We strongly advise you to follow the band on Twitter if you're keen to keep up-to-date on how that all progresses.
Speaking of hibernation, the PoA Live directorial team recently took off on a short leave of absence into the wilderness of Southern America and the surrounding Northern Tips (hence the slight delay on getting this second installment "In A Can"). Filming of new episodes will re-commence towards the end of April, with a few Very Exciting prospects already booked in. This isn't goodbye, it's just a short pause. It'll all be OK mate.
