Why is it that when people make a stand in real life it's nothing like the movies? A guy on my bus the other day made a stand against 'the man' (in this case the man being the bus company due to their buses occasionally being late).

In the movies the whole bus would have stood up, cheered, then probably exited the bus, tipped it over to block traffic, and then the hero and the most attractive girl probably would have made out atop the burning wreckage.

Unfortunately in this case, for this poor soul, one guy said 'Yeah, im going to email the shit outta those guys as soon as i get to work, or at the first available opportunity', and that was about it.

Fortunately this episode is only slightly like the aforementioned situation.
