Episode 32

If I was a fan of interweb speak then I would insert a bit WTF and/or an OMG at the start of this next sentence.

Has it really been a month since we chundered out an episode of this podcast?

We have no excuses now - we have made them shorter so we could put them out quicker and easier. We limited the tom foolery and then sat around for a month, attended some shows instead, drunk some beer, fought against an uprising and [obvs] didn't make any 'podcasts'.

But, alas, just when you thought it was safe to write this all off and delete us from your podcast directory, we churn out a collection of beautiful songs. Here are the songs that we played, with 'notes' because we didn't really feel like talking - and it's good for you to start reading again.

1. Straight Arrows - Can't Count
We probably talk about this band too much, but they are more than just the flavour of the month. They aren't overly serious, they are sloppy and put out a fantastic, raw sound. Great stuff.

2. The 3Ds - Animal
This is taken from the soundtrack to the New Zealand movie, Topless Women Talk About Their Lives.

3. The Scare - Bats! Bats! Bats!
The new single from Australian (but UK-based) band, The Scare.

4. K-Os - Ballad of Noah (featuring Buck 65)
From the album 'Atlantis - Hymns for Disco'.

5. Bit By Bats - Apartment
A standout track from their debut album Go! Go! Go!

6. LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends
My favourite track from the 'Sound Of Silver' record.
